Fleet & Equipment Support Assistant
Youngstown, OH | Healthcare Services | Full-Time Monday–Friday
Hourly Rate: $16–$20, based on experience

Role Summary

The Fleet & Equipment Support Assistant provides hands-on support to ensure company vehicles, machinery, and equipment are maintained, organized, and ready for daily operations. This role assists with basic maintenance tasks, inventory management, and coordination efforts to help keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with routine maintenance of vehicles, machinery, and equipment
  • Support inspections to identify basic mechanical issues and report findings
  • Help clean, organize, and maintain equipment and workspaces
  • Assist in tracking fuel usage and maintaining fueling records
  • Support scheduling and coordination of vehicles and equipment
  • Maintain inventory of parts, tools, and supplies; notify team when restocking is needed
  • Help keep accurate maintenance logs and documentation up to date
  • Ensure equipment is properly stored and handled safely
  • Assist with preparing equipment for daily use and transport
  • Provide general support to the Fleet & Equipment team as needed
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support daily operational needs

What You’ll Need to Bring

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest in mechanical work, fleet operations, or equipment maintenance
  • Basic knowledge of tools and equipment (preferred but not required)
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail and reliability
  • Ability to lift/move equipment as needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent
