Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled HR Generalist to join our team. This in office role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of various human resources functions and supporting a positive and productive workplace culture. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR activities, including employee relations, recruitment and selection, training and development, payroll processing, compensation and benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with applicable local employment laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and managers.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and selection processes, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
- Support training and development initiatives, including scheduling sessions and maintaining training records.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and claims support.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and maintain payroll records.
- Handle employee relations issues professionally and confidentially, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices; ensure compliance across HR activities.
- Support performance management processes, including evaluations and goal setting.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role.
- Solid understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and payroll processes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (ATS, payroll systems, etc.), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Paycom experience a plus.
- High level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
- Experience in healthcare is desirable.
What We Offer:
Compensation: (Depending on experience) $60,000 to $70,000
