Job Summary:
The Home Health Scheduler plays a key role in coordinating and optimizing the scheduling of in-home diagnostic services such as X-rays, EKGs, ultrasounds, and other mobile imaging procedures. This position ensures that services are delivered efficiently, timely, and in alignment with patient needs, provider availability, and company logistics.

This position ensures that services are delivered efficiently, timely, and in alignment with patient needs, provider availability, and company logistics.
Primary responsibilities:
- Schedule mobile diagnostic appointments for patients in home health, hospice, or assisted living settings.
- Coordinate availability of technologists, equipment, and vehicles based on location and urgency.
- Confirm appointments with patients, caregivers, and home health agencies.
- Maintain up-to-date records in scheduling software and electronic health systems (EHR/EMR).
- Communicate with clinicians, dispatchers, and internal teams to ensure quality service delivery.
- Handle urgent/same-day service requests and adjust schedules accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other relevant healthcare regulations.
- Monitor daily workflows and help troubleshoot delays or logistical issues.
- Support billing and documentation accuracy by ensuring all appointment details are recorded correctly.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 1–2 years of scheduling, healthcare coordination, or customer service experience; experience in mobile diagnostics or home health is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in scheduling software, EMRs, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and diagnostic services is a plus.
- Office-based position.
